Fairfield
Park is a division of LaPointe-Fisher Nursing
Home, a name synonymous with quality care for
the elderly. Our Home has enjoyed a long and
distinguished reputation within the community of
Wallaceburg for over 60 years. Fairfield Park,
our new home, opened its doors in May of 2000.
Our Home was rebuilt using the 1998 design
standards developed by the
Ministry of Health and Long Term Care
and incorporates many features designed to
enhance the quality of life of our residents.
Our entire Home is air conditioned and the
spaciousness contributes to a significant
reduction in noise levels, thereby improving the
general ambiance for residents and creating a
home-like environment.
In our lounge at
the front entrance, as well as in the courtyard
lounge area, we have both a fireplace and
library for our residents and their family and
friends to enjoy while visiting. Outdoors, we
have a variety of landscaping and gardens for
our residents to enjoy, with lots of areas to
sit and visit. A memorial garden has been
designed in one of the outdoor courtyard areas
and a private drive surrounds the Home and
provides a quiet area for residents to walk
safely outdoors with family and friends.
